Greetings Locals Community!
Some quick updates for you all here.
1) The Minstrel is going to be taking a few weeks off to tend to some personal matters which need attention. He is planning to return to the podcasts sometime after Labor Day. Please pray for him and for his efforts!
2) To cover for the Minstrel, we will be splitting his duties between the fourth member of the team, the Factor (Mr. Wilson) and a new member of the podcast rotation: Mr. Christopher Goins "the Reporter". We are very excited to welcome Chris to the team. As you no doubt have seen in his previous two podcast appearances, he is a very intelligent man with a lot of great insight and will contribute a lot to our great discussions.
3) We are going to begin putting certain materials behind paywalls starting after Episode #100 of Secession Speakeasy. A monthly subscription will be $8.00 per month and will also grant the rights to comment on the Locals page. We hope to release some more Locals-exclusive content later in the year, but it will largely depend on our schedules as we all have additional commitments we are taking care of.
4) The Professor released another article on Lew Rockwell this week and hopes to be releasing a big article covering secession in the worldwide context soon. Enjoy!

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the proposal coming from an Iowa state legislator that Iowa establish a Iowa-Illinois Border Adjustment Committee to see about taking in Illinois counties which wish to separate from political association with Chicago. How similar is this to the effort now going on in Indiana? What hurdles would an Iowa assistance effort face and what preparations should be taken? Why is this an important development in the changing world even if the original proposal is not passed by the Iowa legislature?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the newly launched effort in Western Ohio to split a local township into two new townships in order to ensure better representation and addressing of the local peoples’ needs by their local governments. Why is this yet another great example of how secession fever is beginning to rise within America? Why are the objections coming from local authority figures to this split so similar to objections which have been raised against other secession movements and why are they just as ridiculous? What great political approach is being used to help bring about this split which other secession movements should look at implementing themselves? Could this effort successfully spark more widespread talk of secession within the Buckeye State?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the recent news out of the British Isles describing how the British Elite in the Labour Party are panicking over the prospect of a landslide loss of the 2026 local elections in Wales to pro-independence Welsh nationalist parties who have publicly proclaimed their intent to get a Welsh Independence Referendum scheduled and ready to go if they win the majority in the local Welsh Parliament. What does this say about the current state of the British Isles politically? Is this pointing to very key weaknesses which may completely take apart the foundational power of the City of London?

This piece from the Acton Institute speaks very much to our views here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" on what the relationship should be between family and the workplace. Here we always says that "Family Comes First". That means occasionally we will have gaps in our publication schedule when we need to tend to matters which affect family. However we are still committed to spreading the word on the causes which are important to the everyday people so that EVERYONE will be able to put family first in the not-too-distant future and it is why we value your support so much! Be a rebel, raise a family and show & tell the family how much you love them! https://rlo.acton.org/archives/124383-your-job-is-not-your-family.html
Professor Wall is joined by lawyer and Alberta independence activist Katherine Kowalchuk and Canadian law professor Bruce Pardy on “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss the recent developments in the Alberta Separatism effort. What are some encouraging aspects that are being seen in the efforts to separate Alberta from Canada? What are some more concerning developments which it might be wise to make note of and take a different approach to? Why is Independence for Alberta not enough to actually restore FREEDOM to Alberta? What are the different stages of the process for Alberta Independence and which is actually most important as opposed to what popular belief holds as the most important?
Professor Wall welcomes the President of the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project, Brad Williams, to “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss the Saskatchewan Independence Effort and it’s recent growth in popularity across the populace. What are the issues driving the popular positive views of Saskatchewan separating from Ottawa? Why has there been an explosion in popular interest in these town halls educating people on Saskatchewan self-determination efforts being held across the province by the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project? What obstacles are ahead for Saskatchewan independence activists to overcome in their journey towards achieving freedom for Saskatchewan? What secret political tactics might they be able to use to help bring this all about?
