Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss a range of sovereignty issues from Canada to Spain to California. Did a high official in Justin Trudeau’s government recently admit publicly that Canada is planning to interfere in America’s forthcoming 2024 elections? Are the Catalan separatists laying the groundwork to make another run at a Catalonia independence referendum with the nature of their demands in their negotiations with the Socialists for power in Spain? What does the new elitist term being thrown out there, namely “political violence”, meant to convey? Is Tom Luongo correct that Gavin Newsom’s recent electoral machinations may be the opening stages of an illegitimate “Elitist Secessionist Project”? What is the major problem for those on both the Left and the Right when it comes to the issue of secession?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the rapid unfolding of events in Canada, especially in the wake of the 2025 Canadian federal elections. Why does secession preparation appear to be increasing in intensity across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Quebec in particular? What is particularly striking about the differences in preparation approaches? What is it about the recent turn of events which seems to point to the real possibility that Canada’s National Divorce era has now begun?

Professor Wall and the Reporter discuss the rising threats, protests and political attacks being made against the self-governing South African community of Orania by the Marxist political groups holding power in various forms and degrees in South Africa. Why are the charges of racism and apartheid being leveled against Orania untrue and what is the real agenda against Orania which the Marxists are using the labels as cover for? What is especially dangerous about the tactics the Marxists are using and what could it lead to? Could Orania and the example it has set be a solid foundation for the beginning of a Volkstaat country which secedes from the failing state of South Africa? Why is it imperative for the freedom of all peoples in South Africa that the BRICS countries stay out of South Africa’s impending dissolution?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the recent developments surrounding the situation in South Africa. AfriForum and South African Solidarity successfully lobbied Donald Trump and Elon Musk to bring attention to the plight of the Afrikaners and the slowly unfolding genocide in South Africa. However these episodes do not seem to have brought about support from the American government for the Cape Independence cause despite the Cape Independence groups sending a delegation to Washington seeking geopolitical help. Why is getting help from Washington unlikely? Where is the success of the Cape Independence effort more likely to arise from? Why is it imperative for the freedom of all peoples in South Africa that the BRICS countries stay out of South Africa’s impending dissolution?

This piece from the Acton Institute speaks very much to our views here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" on what the relationship should be between family and the workplace. Here we always says that "Family Comes First". That means occasionally we will have gaps in our publication schedule when we need to tend to matters which affect family. However we are still committed to spreading the word on the causes which are important to the everyday people so that EVERYONE will be able to put family first in the not-too-distant future and it is why we value your support so much! Be a rebel, raise a family and show & tell the family how much you love them! https://rlo.acton.org/archives/124383-your-job-is-not-your-family.html
“From Steal to Secession AM” celebrates it’s 50th episode by welcoming longtime and internationally renowned self-determination and referendum expert Dr. Matt Qvortrup for a fascinating discussion on the practical aspects surrounding self-determination and independence in the realms of culture, law, and practicality. What lessons can we take from the world today of the realities surrounding movements which successfully achieved independence for the parts of the world? What does success for self-determination efforts look like in different contexts? What are the potential results which unfold if people’s rights and needs for self-determination are denied through manipulation by the ruling classes?
The Professor lays forth why it is very wise for self-determination movements to design and put together a flag for their movement and the important roles which flags serve in helping advance such movements.
