Happy Easter!

Greetings Locals Community! Happy Easter to you all!

Well we have had a crazy last two weeks which has eaten up our time and we apologize for that. One member of the team is in the process of moving to a new area of the country and things have gotten complicated for him over the last two weeks. Another member of the team is preparing to change jobs and move to a new part of the country. Most seriously, however, a third member of the team had a serious health issue arise which necessitated emergency surgery and we are still waiting to see if the issue is behind him or not. These recent challenges obviously demanded our immediate attention and so we were unable to do any podcasting as a result. We will be returning to podcasting shortly now that it looks like we are getting a grip on these recent challenges, but we would ask all of you for your prayers, especially for our team member with the health issues. We appreciate all of you very much and we hope you all enjoyed your Easter holiday. Remember, the solutions to today's problems always begin with you and the actions you take in your own lives and in your own communities! Stay strong folks! We will see you again soon!

Professor Wall welcomes Rick Becker, the Host of the “War, Divorce or Federalism” podcast and Jason Fry the author the book “National Divorce: A Plan for Peace” for a discussion of the question “Is a United America now Unsalvagable?” In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination, has the reality of the deep divides which now span America made the reality of forthcoming national divorce ever more apparent to everyday Americans?

Secession Speakeasy 162 (Public House Edition): Quebec & Alberta Separatists meet to plan collaboration!

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the news that Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, the leader of the Quebec separatist party the Parti Quebecois, met both privately and publicly with certain Alberta separatist leaders to discuss collaborating their efforts to help each other accomplish their goal of independence for their respective nations. Why is this a huge positive development for the oppressed people of Canada and for the prospects of peace after the dissolution of the Canadian nation? What can other self-determination movements across the world learn from this alliance between two movements of differing ideologies and yet both seeking independence for their peoples?

Secession Speakeasy 161 (Public House Edition): Revolutions in Sri Lanka & Nepal a taste of what is coming worldwide?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the people’s revolutions which unfolded in Sri Lanka and Nepal and how they were triggered by an utter collapse in domestic living conditions for the working classes of both countries. What similarities can be drawn from the working class conditions within these two countries and the conditions for the non-elite classes in places like Europe, Africa, Canada, America, China and across much of the rest of the world? Keeping these similarities in mind, what warnings can be drawn from Nepal and Sri Lanka for what may unfold across much of the rest of the world in the near-future? How does this play into the whole breakup of nations which Martin Armstrong is forecasting and far-seeing individuals can see coming?

Here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" Family comes FIRST

This piece from the Acton Institute speaks very much to our views here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" on what the relationship should be between family and the workplace. Here we always says that "Family Comes First". That means occasionally we will have gaps in our publication schedule when we need to tend to matters which affect family. However we are still committed to spreading the word on the causes which are important to the everyday people so that EVERYONE will be able to put family first in the not-too-distant future and it is why we value your support so much! Be a rebel, raise a family and show & tell the family how much you love them! https://rlo.acton.org/archives/124383-your-job-is-not-your-family.html

From Steal to Secession AM - Ep. 53: Liberland - Founding One’s Own Country

Professor Wall welcomes the Foreign Minister of the microstate of Liberland, Thomas Walls, to “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss Liberland, it’s history, it’s fight for recognition among the nations of the world, and what it hopes to accomplish for the people who have chosen to be part of this nation. Why is there such opposition to the establishment and growth of Liberland coming from certain government sectors in the Balkans? Who might be behind this effort to deny Liberland the recognition it deserves despite the fact that they seek peace and pose no threat to anyone? How is Liberland going about seeking to obtain recognition from other nations? What self-governing and economic principles make up the foundation of Liberland as a nation? What can Liberland teach other self-determination and self-government movements across the world?

From Steal to Secession AM - Ep. 52: The Changing Path of Scottish Nationalism

Professor Wall welcomes back Scottish Nationalist academic Dr. Paul Gilfillan, to “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss the developments unfolding in the British Isles. Is the growing realization of the ineffectiveness of elections among the populace, the rising untenability of the domestic situation and the stark dysfunction of the Westminister government opening up new opportunities for independence for the various nations under the British Empire? What does the contrast between the rising popularity for Scottish Independence and the stagnating or declining support for the Scottish National Party say about the situation in Scotland? Could the separation of Northern Ireland from Britain or the Faroe Islands from Denmark play a big role in getting Scottish Nationalism to a new level on the path to independence?
