On behalf of the entire team at "On This Terrestrial Ball", we wish you a Happy New Year and share with you our high hopes that further steps will be taken to advance the return of freedom in this new year. Let us all remember to do our part in our own local communities to help bring that about.
Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the recent developments surrounding the situation in South Africa. AfriForum and South African Solidarity successfully lobbied Donald Trump and Elon Musk to bring attention to the plight of the Afrikaners and the slowly unfolding genocide in South Africa. However these episodes do not seem to have brought about support from the American government for the Cape Independence cause despite the Cape Independence groups sending a delegation to Washington seeking geopolitical help. Why is getting help from Washington unlikely? Where is the success of the Cape Independence effort more likely to arise from? Why is it imperative for the freedom of all peoples in South Africa that the BRICS countries stay out of South Africa’s impending dissolution?

Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss the launch of a new movement to split the northern areas of Maine from the southwest coastal region of Maine. Will this split develop into separate statehood for Northern Maine or a re-drawing of state borders with New Hampshire taking in the disaffected northern Maine counties? What role could Northern Maine play in the unfolding secessionist sentiments within New England at large? How does this play into the bigger picture of the unfolding political breakup which is developing within both the United States and Canada?

Professor Wall and the Reporter discuss the developments in Wyoming where the state government is now going to be adding gold and silver into it’s Permanent Mineral Trust Fund to help protect the state government from the collapse of the US dollar. Will this investment in gold and silver also serve as a monetary backing for Wyoming to have it’s own stable currency in post-secession America? How is this plan going to also protect everyday Wyoming citizens? What lessons can other states and secession movements take from this extremely important economic step?

This piece from the Acton Institute speaks very much to our views here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" on what the relationship should be between family and the workplace. Here we always says that "Family Comes First". That means occasionally we will have gaps in our publication schedule when we need to tend to matters which affect family. However we are still committed to spreading the word on the causes which are important to the everyday people so that EVERYONE will be able to put family first in the not-too-distant future and it is why we value your support so much! Be a rebel, raise a family and show & tell the family how much you love them! https://rlo.acton.org/archives/124383-your-job-is-not-your-family.html
“From Steal to Secession AM” celebrates it’s 50th episode by welcoming longtime and internationally renowned self-determination and referendum expert Dr. Matt Qvortrup for a fascinating discussion on the practical aspects surrounding self-determination and independence in the realms of culture, law, and practicality. What lessons can we take from the world today of the realities surrounding movements which successfully achieved independence for the parts of the world? What does success for self-determination efforts look like in different contexts? What are the potential results which unfold if people’s rights and needs for self-determination are denied through manipulation by the ruling classes?
The Professor lays forth why it is very wise for self-determination movements to design and put together a flag for their movement and the important roles which flags serve in helping advance such movements.
