Professor Wall and the Secession Minstrel discuss pivotal lessons which can be derived from all the discussion which unfolded leading up to the Texas legislature’s hearings on the question of whether certain New Mexico counties could be brought back into Texas if they so desired to change their allegiance from Santa Fe to Austin. Why do people claim that counties do not have sovereignty? What is fundamentally wrong about this understanding if one truly believes that individual people have rights? How does this change the scope of the discussion on self-determination?

This piece from the Acton Institute speaks very much to our views here at "On This Terrestrial Ball" on what the relationship should be between family and the workplace. Here we always says that "Family Comes First". That means occasionally we will have gaps in our publication schedule when we need to tend to matters which affect family. However we are still committed to spreading the word on the causes which are important to the everyday people so that EVERYONE will be able to put family first in the not-too-distant future and it is why we value your support so much! Be a rebel, raise a family and show & tell the family how much you love them! https://rlo.acton.org/archives/124383-your-job-is-not-your-family.html
Professor Wall is joined by lawyer and Alberta independence activist Katherine Kowalchuk and Canadian law professor Bruce Pardy on “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss the recent developments in the Alberta Separatism effort. What are some encouraging aspects that are being seen in the efforts to separate Alberta from Canada? What are some more concerning developments which it might be wise to make note of and take a different approach to? Why is Independence for Alberta not enough to actually restore FREEDOM to Alberta? What are the different stages of the process for Alberta Independence and which is actually most important as opposed to what popular belief holds as the most important?
Professor Wall welcomes the President of the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project, Brad Williams, to “From Steal to Secession AM” to discuss the Saskatchewan Independence Effort and it’s recent growth in popularity across the populace. What are the issues driving the popular positive views of Saskatchewan separating from Ottawa? Why has there been an explosion in popular interest in these town halls educating people on Saskatchewan self-determination efforts being held across the province by the Saskatchewan Prosperity Project? What obstacles are ahead for Saskatchewan independence activists to overcome in their journey towards achieving freedom for Saskatchewan? What secret political tactics might they be able to use to help bring this all about?
